The Beckley Foundation Drug Policy Programme aims to promote opendebate on the effectiveness of drug policies. This section containsa discussion forum through which invited individuals can post requestsfor information, and discuss issues related to drug policy formulation,implementation and evaluation. This discussion forum is accessibleonly to those individuals – policymakers, academics and experts- who have been invited to take part.

The Chatham House Rule originated at Chatham House with the aimof guaranteeing anonymity to those speaking within its walls inorder that better international relations could be achieved. Itis now used throughout the world as an aid to free discussion.
